One of the design team of Emirates Team NZ - Pete Melvin (USA) was interviewed by Erik Simonson of US sailing website and forum www.pressure-drop.us

In this 26 minute, very insightful video interview Melvin provides an insight into his introduction to Emirates Team NZ after the AC72 rules were written. He covers the development phase, initial foiling, the methodology of designing and building the first foiling AC 72.

He also adds his thoughts of the future of the America's Cup and future plans
