The Isle of Man SuperYacht Forum has announced that it will be showcasing the Island’s expertise in the superyacht industry during the International Festival For Business which takes place in Liverpool in June and July.

The SuperYacht Forum has partnered with other Island organisations involved in the shipping industry to form 'The Isle of Man Maritime Group'.

The Maritime Group has chartered the historic and prestigious schooner Kathleen and May, berthed in Albert Docks, for two days; 11th and 12th June. During the two days the Maritime Group will host a series of events for business professionals from around the world interested in finding out more about the Isle of Man’s maritime experience and expertise.

On 12th June the SuperYacht Forum will be showcasing the Island’s experience and expertise at a presentation entitled; 'Managing some of the World’s Most Iconic and Valuable Assets'. The presentation will commence at 11.30 followed by lunch and reception on deck.

The Isle of Man is acknowledged to have been a centre of excellence for superyacht management services for over 20 years, and many of industry standard practices and legislation have been initiated and implemented by Forum members.

Representatives of the Forum will explain the history of superyacht industry and how the yachts are managed, detailing the many additional services that required and provided by Forum members.

In addition to the presentations the Maritime Group will also be hosting two invite only themed evening receptions on board the Kathleen and May: 'Cocktails and Sails' and 'Wine on the Waves'. Both these events will provide an opportunity for guests to network with Group members whilst enjoying either a selection of cocktails and canapés or sampling wines from around the world. Local produce from the Isle of Man will be available at these receptions with award winning Manx cheese and seafood on offer.

Those interested in attending events on the two days or attending the Forum’s presentation can register interest at the Maritime Group’s website.
