Monte Carlo 'MC5' making Australian Debut at Sydney Boat Show

Monte Carlo: a notable demeanour, unique style, impeccable design. The first in the new Monte Carlo range, the MC5 is a motor yacht with a unique concept, endowed with innovative solutions originating from Beneteau group's industrial experience and the incomparable style of Monte Carlo Yachts.

As the exclusive distributors for this stunning new range Sundance Marine will present the Australian debut of the Monte Carlo MC5 on the water at the Sydney International Boat Show as well as represent the Monte Carlo Yachts range.

Recently awarded the 2014 European Powerboat of the Year in the Motorboats over 45 ft category, at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, the award represents the MC5s beauty, innovation, originality, quality manufacturing and performance.

The MC5 is the result of a complex development effort. Full of innovative ideas, it’s obvious that experienced boat builders have been at work. The range combines the best of Italian design with the Beneteau Groups experienced shipyards for which they are universally acknowledged. With the range offering a MC4, 5 and 6, every model offers far more than you would imagine based on its size. The range is offered in Flybridge and Hard-Top versions.



The MC5 on display at Sydney International Boat Show is the flybridge version and features the IPS600 Volvo Engine upgrade, Hydraulic swim platform, Simrad electronics pack, 11kVa generator, transom wetbar, Air conditioning, retractable sun awning, 32' TV in saloon with Bose 2.1 Hi-Fi system, FUSION 700 audio/dvd/iPod dock/Bluetooth and other additional options.

Despite the forecast of dicey weather, visitors to the Auckland On the Water Boat Show were rewarded with a good day Despite a less than optimist forecast of more inclement weather, visitors to the Auckland On the Water Boat Show were rewarded with a good day to be at the Show – overcast skies, but no rain and plenty to see and do. Held for the first time in the school holidays, the kids – who get free entry – had a great day.

Auckland On the Water Boat Show opens full of the Joys of Spring
The Auckland On the Water Boat Show enjoyed a beautiful Spring day for its opening. Despite the inclement weather that has been the New Zealand's daily fare for too long, the Auckland On the Water Boat Show enjoyed a beautiful Spring day for its opening. Today was the first of the four-day show and is also the first time that the Show has been held in the school holidays.
