Mr Casani will oversee and reinforce the core and strategic activities of Nautor’s Swan, with a focus on integrating the activities of the companies within the Nautor group, with special emphasis in the development of international markets and global efficiencies.

'Mr. Casani is a great addition to our team and his appointment represents another exciting step forward in the growth of Nautor. We are constantly striving to strengthen Nautor’s Swan’s position as market leader, which is based on the company’s strong heritage, commitment to innovation, pursuit of excellence and true passion for yachting. We are confident that Mr. Casani’s determination and valuable professional experience will enable us to convert into reality the ambitious and challenging objectives of Nautor through 2014 and beyond,' said Leonardo Ferragamo, Chairman of Nautor’s Swan.

For close to half a century, Nautor's Swan has been the true sailor's choice, designing and building luxurious, high performance yachts in Northern Finland. Since the foundation of the company in 1966, over 2,000 Swan yachts have been built, the majority of which are still sailing today.
