New Spinlock DURO+ lifejacket is the perfect fit for marine professionals

Spinlock is pleased to be launching its new DURO+ commercial lifejacket at the forthcoming SMM international maritime trade fair in Hamburg (4 – 7 September), where it will be holding a press briefing at 1130 on 4 September on stand 400 in Hall B1.OG.

Based on the award-winning Deckvest 5D Lifejacket, the new DURO+ offers commercial marine professionals the ultimate in fit and comfort thanks to the unique rapid adjust chest belt system. The DURO+ also has the added benefit of a featuring a deck safety harness for connecting the wearer to the vessel.

Like all Spinlock lifejackets, the DURO+ has been ergonomically designed to give a comfortable all-day fit and to allow a wide range of movement so that the user can get on with the task in hand without having to give the lifejacket a second thought – all the while safe in knowledge that it is ready for deployment if required.

Made from carefully selected and extra durable cover materials, this lifejacket is more than capable of withstanding the demands of extremely tough marine environments, which come no tougher than the Volvo Ocean Race. Spinlock recently provided bespoke lifejackets to all of the crews competing in this iconic event, which saw 2.5 million miles and up to 135 days of continuous product use, ultimately resulting in several innovations and features being fed directly into the design of the DURO+. These include the new hard-wearing cover materials, non-snag zip design, convenient flip-up crotch strap buckle and the ID and asset tracking pouch.
