The month of May brought several new teak additions to Blue View (Bayliss 78'). The most noteworthy of which was the installation of her raised teak flybridge deck. Work is now under way on her teak transom. Later this month, the crew will begin on her teak coverboards.
On the flybridge, her console is now in final primer. The cabin, bridge, and hull are in the process of being sanded and will soon match the console in final primer.
Stepping into the interior of Blue View, things are beginning to take shape. The interior carpentry crew has completed the build out of the galley, dinette, and day head. They are now turning their attention to tackle room build out. Fabrication of everything from the VIP bunks to galley cabinetry is well under way inside the cabinetry shop.
Our electrical crew is currently completing the main wire runs for all lighting and equipment. Our mechanical crew just installed her struts, and over the course of the next month, they will build generator exhaust piping, install chiller lines, and plumb the machine tunnel bilges and sumps.
Soon, she will receive her teak helm pod and half round, inching her exterior appearance one step closer to finalization.
