The Marina Industries Association (MIA) is pleased to announce, that in a demonstration of support to industry, Copley Marine Consulting Group has invested in sponsorship of the MIA.

Copley Marine Consulting Group (CMCG) is a waterfront development consultancy firm specialising in club, commercial marina developments and residential jetties and mooring pens. Their experience lies in handling complex planning approvals and liaising with government departments such as Transport for NSW, DPI Fisheries and Crown Lands.

Based in Sydney the team include engineers, CAD designers, planners and project managers and cover projects along the East Coast of Australia.

MIA CEO, Suzanne Davies commented on Copley Marine's further commitment, "Copley Marine Consulting Group have been members of the MIA for six years and I am very pleased with their decision to provide further commitment and support to the industry. Many MIA members have worked with them over the years and Copley Marine has provided very effective service to them especially in terms of dealing with regulatory bodies and in planning and preparing for their developments".

Copley Marine Consulting Group Managing Director, Alister Copley recognises the work the MIA does each day to support the industry. "I am proud to support the MIA by becoming a Bronze Sponsor. We know the important contributions the Association makes to the industry. With our focus on assisting marina operators and homeowners to cut through red tape when developing their waterfront infrastructure, we are confident that our partnership with MIA will be mutually beneficial and will positively impact the marine industry. We look forward to a long working relationship".

Industry sponsorship is a great way for suppliers to remain 'top of mind' and is a great way to ensure exposure in our growing industry. CEO of the MIA Suzanne Davies said, "The investment in MIA sponsorship by CMCG is greatly appreciated but also a smart business move. In a recent survey of members, it was reported that nearly 64% of members will actively consider sponsors when making purchasing and acquisition decisions".
