Antal and Karver have officially signed a long-term strategic alliance based on the sharing of technological excellence and the complementarity of their respective product ranges.

The agreement stems from a solid mutual esteem and aims to offer the market a comprehensive proposition, spanning the Racing, Custom, and Cruising segments, capable of responding in an integrated way to any deck layout project, optimized through the experience and recognized expertise of both companies.

Two benchmark European companies

Founded in 1977 in Padua / Italy, Antal is an international benchmark in the production of deck hardware for sailing yachts of all sizes and types. The company is distinguished by its consolidated know-how in deck hardware, with a significant presence across all main segments, from cruising to high-end yachting, up to ocean racing, where it is a well-established player, particularly in the Class 40 and larger categories, thanks to its engineering capabilities and tailor -made solution.

Founded in 2003 in Normandy / France, Karver is today one of the most innovative and recognized brands in the production of high-performance deck hardware. The French company is a leader in the Ocean racing market, with its products featured in numerous prestigious projects such as the IMOCA 60, Ocean 50 or Ultims, a symbol of the brand's technical and design excellence. Karver is renowned for its ability to transfer its racing expertise into the cruising world, making sailing simpler and easier.

A partnership built to deliver a complete and integrated offering

The goal of the alliance is to offer integrated and complete solutions for the development of deck systems, from the design phase to final installation, leveraging the extensive technological, engineering, and manufacturing expertise of both companies.

This collaboration is designed to reinforce Antal and Karver's presence in their key markets, with a particular focus on:

  • the French market, know as the world's leading producer of sailboats and strongly linked to ocean racing,
  • and the Italian market, renowned for excellence in high-end cruising and yacht building
The key principles of the agreement

The agreement is built on several key principles:

  • A synergistic and complementary offer, simplifying the work of shipyards through a comprehensive range of integrated solutions.

  • A unified design process, where products from both catalogs are considered together from the earliest stages, ensuring maximum technical and functional efficiency.

  • A streamlined technical and commercial partnership that simplifies project management, reduces the number of suppliers, and optimizes overall efficiency and costs.
An alliance driven by innovation and performance

In the Racing, Super Yachts and Custom segment, the alliance translates into total technological collaboration, combining engineering expertise and production capacity to joinly tackle the most complex deck design challenges, offering shipyards and designers an unprecedented level of reliability and innovation

A new value proposition for the market

With this partnership, a new opportunity arises for shipyards, owners, sailors, and professionals in the sector: a complete proposition covering every detail of deck hardware design, optimizing processes and ensuring the quality, precision, and added value that only two world-leading brands like Antal and Karver can deliver

Enrico, Marin, and Tanguy are commenting on this agreement:

ANTAL - Enrico GOMIERO (CEO): "This agreement first and foremost brings together the stories of two family-owned companies that share the same passion, values, and vision for the future. KARVER - Marin CLAUSIN (President): "Beyond its technical and commercial scope, this alliance is also a human journey built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared ambition to move forward together. In an increasingly turbulent world, team spirit makes all the difference. Together, we can go further — and faster. We remain driven by passion and by the belief that professionalism can go hand in hand with sincerity and pleasure in working together. In an era of large corporations and globalization, we are deliberately choosing a different path."

KARVER - Tanguy de LARMINAT (Managing Director): "Nothing more to add — let's make it happen!"
