Sail Canada 2026 Sail West Championships to be held at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club

Sail Canada 2026 Sail West Championships will be held at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, June 20-21, during the Waves Regatta.

The Notice of race for this event will soon be available and registration will open in the coming months.

Competitors from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba will be in action in the 29er, Club 420, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, ILCA 7, RS Feva and Optimist classes. Athletes from other provinces are also invited to take part in the competition.

Sail Canada Sail West event is part of a series of seven Sail Canada National and Regional Championships to be held this summer. These competitions provide a chance for sailors to train and compete with high-level sailors in their region, in addition to serving as talent identification opportunities for regional and provincial sailing teams, as development and mentoring opportunities for coaches, as well as training and development opportunities for officials and volunteers.
