Anticipation is growing for the first edition of the Mediterranean Yacht and Marine Equipment Trade Fair: over 160 exhibitors confirmed, new participants and an interesting programme featuring events, conferences and digital solutions for visitors.

Seaquip is approaching its debut: and one month ahead of its first edition, scheduled to take place in Milan from 4 to 6 March, the event has exceeded 160 exhibitors, attracting the appreciation of a growing number of qualified industry professionals who have already registered as visitors.

The show is designed to make the experience of visitors and exhibitors increasingly effective, organised and valuable. From the very start of the campaign, exhibitors have been able to invite their communities in a personalised way via a dedicated link and will receive a notification when their contacts enter the trade fair, thus facilitating direct and timely engagement. These features are complemented by digital interaction solutions based on Smart Badge Technology: thanks to the smart badge, visitors and exhibitors can exchange contact details and information quickly and easily through the Touch & Collect function, simply by bringing their badges close together.

In addition, the Seaquip app will be launched in the coming days, extending networking opportunities not only during the days of the trade fair, but also before and after the event, further strengthening Seaquip's role as a platform that brings the yachting community together beyond the three days of the exhibition. Through the app, it will be possible to schedule meetings with both exhibitors and other visitors, expanding and enhancing B2B networking and relationship-building opportunities.

The event organiser is Easyfairs, which benefits from the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Enterprises and several trade associations. It is a multinational company with over 25 years of experience, specialising in the organisation of trade fairs and professional events, which in 2025 recorded revenues exceeding €260 million. Headquartered in Belgium, Easyfairs manages more than 110 events across a wide range of sectors — from manufacturing to maritime, from packaging to beauty — engaging around 24,000 exhibitors and over one million visitors each year by creating effective platforms for networking, visibility and business development.

In parallel with the increase in registrations, the number of supporters and patronages is also growing and has already reached 15, confirming the backing of the sector's leading players. Work is also progressing on the definition of the programme of panels and conferences, developed with the contribution of some of the most authoritative figures in the industry.

The Seaquip team is working on a constantly evolving calendar of events and forums, and the following panels are currently scheduled, covering various areas of the yachting and marine sector:

  • "The Frontiers of Decarbonisation for Yachting", hosted by RINA. Participants include Volvo Penta, Vulkan, MAN and MTU;
  • "Finishing and Environmental Challenges in Offshore Applications", hosted by UCIF | Anima Confindustria Meccanica. Participants will include Savim Europe, Kenosistec, Geico, Verind, Fismet Service and POLIEFUN;
  • "Additive Manufacturing Sets Full Sail in the Marine Sector", featuring Superfici S.c.r.l. (with Paolo Licinio Nazzaro, Co-Founder & Managing Director), 3ntr (with Ilaria Ardizzoia, Founder and CFO), AOC TBC (with Edwin Hendriks, Technical Service Manager/R&D), DYD YACHT DESIGN & CONSULTING (with Franco Gnessi, Yacht Designer), Physis PEB - Politecnico di Milano (with Gabriele Defendini), and finally Fabio Bignolini, Co-Founder & CEO, who will act as moderator;
  • "Regeneration of Carbon Fibre Composites: the Challenge of Herambiente's FIB3R Plant for a Circular Marine Supply Chain", organised by Herambiente and involving FIB3R, Sanlorenzo Yacht shipyard, the University of Bologna, Angeloni Group and Carbon Task.
  • "Digital Marketing in Yachting", featuring Caterina Cappiello, Account Director at Esprit Digital Agency, the digital arm of Sculati&Partners; Marco Bertocchi, Sales & Marketing Director at Nerea Yacht; Equipe International, a Milan-based boutique company with over 25 years of experience in communication, marketing and event creation; 356, a creative lab specialising in communication, innovation and the production of immersive events, also based in Milan; and Corrado del Fanti, Marketing & Business Development Advisor. The panel will be moderated by Luca Sordelli, journalist and Lecturer in the History of Yacht Design and Communication & Marketing at IED.

In light of the growing interest shown by exhibitors from around the world, the sales campaign for the 2027 edition has also been launched, which will feature a completely redesigned floor plan. The lead-up to Seaquip will continue in the coming weeks with the announcement of new participants and the main product innovations that will be presented at the trade fair.
