Boating Infrastructure Update: Key Projects Across Vic

A number of boating infrastructure upgrades are under way or progressing across Victoria:
- Lake Eildon (Howqua Inlet): Construction has commenced on a new two-lane ramp and 18 parking spaces.
- Tooradin: Ramp closed for major upgrade, including extended lanes, pontoons and improved access—reopening ahead of snapper season 2026.
- Lake Colac: New pontoons to improve safety and access, funded through the Better Boating Fund.
- Schnapper Point: Upgrade works commencing, with closure during construction and reopening expected in October.
- Newhaven Jetty: Maintenance works complete, with broader upgrade planning under way.
- Tullaroop Reservoir: Plans for a new concrete ramp to replace the erosion-prone gravel facility.
- Karadoc (Mildura): Ramp upgrade scheduled for 2026/27 to improve Murray River access.
