Lyman-Morse has begun construction of a new 15,000-square-foot facility to support large-scale composite fabrication and assembly, marking a significant expansion of the company's manufacturing facilities in Thomaston, Maine.

The new building will be the third facility on the campus and will hold the company's Advanced Composites Center. It joins the Workboats division, and Technologies building, which houses the company's CNC and metal additive department.

BoatClass, a leader in certified on-water boater training and a business within Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), announced its expansion to more than 40 locations across North America, deepening its continued partnership with Freedom Boat Club and broadening access to world-class boating education.

"Reaching more than 40 locations is a meaningful milestone, one that reflects the demand we're seeing from boaters who want increased guidance before they get behind the helm. On Thursday, NMMA testified before the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), and several other federal agencies, in response to its Section 301 investigation into structural excess capacity and production in manufacturing sectors. NMMA focused on the importance of providing businesses with certainty between key trading partners and the industry's global supply chain.
