World Cat™ announced the launch of the newest model in its lineup, the 235HB center console hybrid.

This new hybrid platform integrates four boats into one model and is the only hybrid designed for all waters - low gunnels for inshore bay fishing, World Cat's catamaran hull for offshore confidence, 9" draft for skinny water flats fishing and seating for up to 10 people for comfortable all-day cruising.

"Our idea was to create a model that allows for offshore, inshore, and flats fishing capabilities, as well as cruising, diving, and skiing/watersports," said World Cat Director of Sales Chad Armstrong. "Not only did we accomplish this, but we designed the boat to be ideal for families and individuals alike. We truly feel this is the model for a new boater, seasoned veteran, and anyone in between. It also removes limits for any audience when it comes to usability."

World Cat engineers developed this multi-use model by allowing for a low-profile gunnel design, 9" draft, increased storage and seating ability on the catamaran platform vs. a similar-sized deep-V model, and the stable and secure platform that a World Cat is known for.

The 235HB - with a beam of 8' 6" and max horsepower of 300 via twin 150hp engines - offers seating for ten people, including six forward-facing centerline seats. Seven storage boxes throughout the boat including in-floor fish boxes are all insulated, livewell access (20 gallons), dedicated tackle storage, large foredeck with outboard pads mapped to receive a trolling motor, dive ladder, anchor locker, comfortable and spacious bow seating area, and centerline aft seating wide enough for two adults are all features that add to the experience. The sporty design of the hardtop and windshield also add to the overall look of the 22' 7" length model.

"This model is also extremely easy to trailer, launch, and load, which adds to the ease of ownership for someone heading out on their own while spacious for a large family's all-day adventure," added Armstrong.

The 235HB replaces the popular 235CC model and while providing options such as an Edson steering wheel w/ power knob, freshwater wash down, quick release fender holders, forward facing removable bow backrests, ski tow, and removable bow table. Owner can upgrade for an additional 12" Garmin MFD and stereo upgrade that includes an 800w amp and JL Audio 6.5" M6 Series Speakers to enhance their experience out on the water as well. And for the more serious angler heading offshore, GEMLux Deluxe Outriggers w/ 18' collapsible hybrid poles are also available.
