The International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) announced a bold, expanded schedule of educational programming for its October event, bringing together more learning opportunities, more industry collaboration, and more future-focused content than ever before.

IBEX 2026 will feature a broader range of educational sessions, expanded partnerships with leading industry organizations, professional development opportunities, and enhanced integration between classroom learning and the exhibition floor.

The House and Senate have advanced their respective versions of the Water Resources Development Act of 2026. WRDA is a critical infrastructure bill that authorizes U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects and provides congressional direction for how the Corps builds, maintains, and improves America's water resources infrastructure.

Tartan Yachts has unveiled the reimagined Tartan 27 cruising yacht, which preserves the classic profile and practical cruising spirit that made the original an enduring favorite, while incorporating progressive materials, engineering, and sail-handling systems. The Sea Tow Foundation, a national non-profit dedicated to reducing boating-related accidents and fatalities, is proud to announce the addition of seven new members to its Boating Safety Advisory Council. These individuals join a distinguished group of industry leaders, educators, and advocates who help guide the Foundation's efforts to create a safer boating experience for everyone on the water.

World Cat announced that Vann Knight has been promoted to President of World Cat Boats. Knight, who joined in 2018 and most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer, will oversee the day-to-day operations, including manufacturing, engineering, finance and customer experience.
