BIA is actively partnering with Federal and State Governments to drive critical structural improvements across the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
Key priorities include updating apprenticeship syllabuses to match modern industry needs and expanding opportunities for skilled migration to address ongoing labour shortages. This high-level advocacy builds on BIA's continuous collaboration with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) across key member States, helping to promote a resilient, job-ready workforce for Australia's marine industry.
