Not to be outdone, French neighbour and yacht builder AMEL have unveiled the latest model of its range and announced its official launch at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2017. At the same time the AMEL 50 affirms a real will for change by the builder, characterized by a variety of lines and technical choices.

Australian luxury boating manufacturer Riviera was awarded ‘Best Sportscruiser (above 45ft)' at the Asia Boating Awards which were held on Wednesday night 5 April, during the Singapore Yacht Show. With more than 25 awards being handed out the Asia Boating Awards are amongst the most prestigious marine awards in Asia. A growing market and focus for all major boating brands.
Any sailing video camera people out there? Mirabaud and MaxComm Communication are pleased to announce the launch of a new global event: the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award. Open to professional TV, film and video producers, cameramen, editors and filmmakers, the ‘Mirabaud Sailing Video Award' will also celebrate the professional sailors who film their achievements during regattas.
The main prize - the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award - will be determined by an international jury. The Prize of the Public will be awarded following votes from the public on Internet. The Special Jury Award will celebrate the sailors who produce the best on-board videos during races.

The second boat show on the calendar year occurs next month and buyers looking for the ultimate ocean lifestyle where they can live aboard, travel long-range distances at a relaxed pace and enjoy spacious entertainment areas need look no further than the 29th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS). Trawler boats are charting their course for SCIBS 2017, held from May 25 to 28, with organisers confirming the largest display in recent years.
