Dear Recipient Name
European electronics company Navico are electronic marine innovators in many boating markets. This week they have announced two new products that could not be further apart across the marine spectrum.
B&G have announced a new wireless wind sensor that they claim is incredibly accurate. The WS320 is a revolutionary new wireless wind sensor aimed at yachts with masts up to around 25m. The new sensor is easy to install, very low weight and does not compromise performance versus a wired unit. The new WS320 offers high performance, improved aerodynamics and accuracy.
At the other end of the spectrum, Navico are the distributors for JL Audio, manufacturers of high-end audio solutions, who announced the launch of a new 2.8-inch weatherproof, powered marine source unit. The MM50 is a high-performance, single-chassis, powered source unit with outstanding audio performance and advanced audio features, specifically designed for marine applications.
While the Adelaide Boat Show takes place this week, Melbourne is preparing for their turn and the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 895 is now confirmed to debut at the 2018 RACV Marine Melbourne Boat Show starting on the Thursday 28th June. This hugely successful design has stunned the International and Australian markets over the last 12 months.
It is always good to read of contributions from the industry to good causes within the industry, and the Marine Industry Foundation (MIF) has announced it has provided a $4,000 grant to Sailability at South of Perth Yacht Club. Public Officer of MIF Colin Bransgrove said the funding is aligned with one of MIF's two core objectives. "The Foundation provides funds to assist with the training and development of young people in the recreational marine industry and secondly to increase the access and inclusion of all people to recreational boating opportunities. In this instance MIF is pleased to be supporting a voluntary organisation with a solid track record for providing sailing experiences to people with special needs."
Overseas visitors of the 28th International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX), held October 2-4 at the Tampa Convention Centre, will have access to the event's robust and expanded education program. Offering participants up to 100 unique opportunities to learn about new processes, access technical information, demo products, and more, the elevated IBEX Education Conference includes the technical IBEX Seminar Series, pre-conference Super Sessions, and free Tech Talk Workshops.

Finally, another iconic marine brand, Henri Lloyd, is experiencing financial difficulties. The company had sought additional financial backing for some time. A Swedish investor, the Aligro Group, recently came on board as lenders but could unfortunately not remedy the difficult financial situation. From more recent reports a rescue mission is in place and normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
