BIA is to host a meeting at Coomera later this month of the Federal Jobs and Skills Council advisory panel which has responsibility for trades such as marine mechanics and trimmers.

This panel has two major functions:

  • To advise the Jobs and Skills Council of industry challenges which may require a training and skills response; and
  • To endorse any potential projects prior to the submission to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to receive further project specific funding.
This visit is part of the Marine Jobs strategic program led by BIA for the benefit of the wider marine industry.
