Team Australia's challenge for the 38th America's Cup was launched yesterday at the Royal Prince Edward Yacht Club.

Backed by John Winning and family, and stemming on from their involvement with the Youth & Women's America's Cup in Barcelona in 2024, key members of the team were in attendance, Grant Simmer OAM, Glenn Ashby, Tash Bryant, with Head of Sailing, Tom Slingsby OAM, joining via video link. Awash with Honours Titles, America's Cups wins, Olympic Medals, Sailor of the Year awards, and World Championships in multiple classes, it was not so much a star studded gala, as galactic event! (Bring on the Klingons...) Yes. One did not just smile, but rather feel warm all over.

Glenn Ashby, Head of Performance and Design of Team Australia

Tash Bryant, Team Australia Sailor
