Nautor's Swan, with more than half a century of heritage, is the leading sailing company. In 2018 the company will break the rules by exhibiting the 1:1 interior scale mock-up of the new Swan 65 at the forthcoming Düsseldorf boat show together with the well-established cruising-performance Swan 54.

Walking through the 1:1 Swan 65 interior mock-up will definitely be the best way to understand the Nautor's Swan philosophy of construction. Nothing is left to chance and the interior mock ups are built to reach the best lay-out for a specific model. Modifications, adjustments and settings of the mock-up are the guarantee that every single detail of the yacht has been taken into consideration.

Swan 65

The new Swan 65 project is a modern performance cruising yacht perfectly conceived for safe, comfortable cruising with family and friends, but equally capable of being specified as a top level racer. With two units already sold from only the drawings and in construction at Nautor's Swan BTC facility in Finland, the first delivery will be winter 2018.

The 1:1 mock-up of Swan 65 is the perfect example of how Swan yachts are conceived in terms of perfect interior planning and volume evaluation. Walking through it gives the feeling and the idea of the yacht and the customer has the possibility to better proceed with decoration, styling and customization.

Designed by Germán Frers, this mid-sized yacht enhances Nautor's existing "performance bluewater" line of yachts, following the same design philosophy and parameters as her larger sister, the Swan 78.

With its clever deck layout, the Swan 65 is suitable to be managed by a family crew with or without a professional skipper. The deck ergonomics also allow the Swan 65 to be raced efficiently with a full competitive crew. The Swan 65 is designed for dynamic sailors looking for high-quality, performance and flexibility with no compromise on comfort or safety. This multipurpose yacht is perfectly equipped for regattas, bluewater cruising or a leisure stopover, with the possibility to upgrade racing options and personalize the interior layout.

Swan 54

Open spaces, distant horizons, unspoiled islands: the Swan 54 is a thoroughbred bluewater cruiser. Designed by Germán Frers, the moderate free board and deep V hull, also available with daggerboard and twin rudders, ensure smooth sailing in rough conditions. The deck plan has been carefully designed with all sail controls next to the twin helms, allowing the Swan 54 to be easily sailed short-handed. Below the spacious accommodation has been handcrafted by Nautor Finnish craftsmen – perfect for extended stays aboard.

She has been refined in all departments and stands out in the crowd because of her design and the inherent quality of her construction. This is a sailing yacht, large enough for a group of six to cruise in comfort but small enough to be able to be sailed and maintained by her owners.

Germàn Frers comments: "This is the boat anybody like me with a wealth of offshore racing experience and a taste for blue water cruising with family and friends, or young people looking to have the adventure of their lives, would dream to own and enjoy in all places of the world without limitations of any sort. She is graceful, elegant and nice looking, the freeboards and overhangs are well proportioned and will have timeless appeal. Form and function are in complete harmony. The Swan 54 is a joy to sail".
