Following the successful launch of the Bavaria C57 last season and the approaching world premieres of the Bavaria C65 and Bavaria C45, Bavaria Yachts now present the fourth sailing yacht of the new C-line, the new Bavaria C50.

Elegant design full of dynamism

The design of the Bavaria C50 is setting new standards in the 50-foot class of sailing yachts. The elegant smooth lines of the hull, which are highlighted by the large hull windows, reveal the dynamics of the Bavaria C50 on the water. Together with the development team at Bavaria, Cossutti Yachts Design developed these lines and design elements which are otherwise only seen in the world of superyachts.

Above deck on the Bavaria C50 there are a number of elements that can otherwise only be found in superyachts. Flush hatches as part of a clever light and ventilation concept below deck. The structure and the tidy forecastle of the Bavaria C50 emphasize the extended lines of the hull.

Holiday, style or ambition

The Bavaria C50 is available in three specifications: Holiday, Style or Ambition. Even in the basic version, the Bavaria C50 is perfectly equipped and ready to sail immediately, as you would expect from Bavaria Yachts. From A for anchor windlass, to N for navigation instruments, through to S for sail and beyond, the yachts have category A certification which attests to the highest level of seaworthiness that a yacht can offer.

Perfect for owners with the highest of standards, the Style line offers additional features and design elements that make the Bavaria C50 such a unique yacht. The special selection of woods and upholstery are also part of the Bavaria C50 STYLE and afford the highest level of personalization.

Sporting design can be found in every detail of the Bavaria C50 AMBITION. The black bowsprit in which the anchor is integrated is particularly distinctive. The gennaker in front of the hull allows the Bavaria C50 AMBITION to achieve even more speed thanks to a better inflow. The black mast and boom and the wheels in a carbon design are just some of the many style elements of pure sporting design.

Interior layouts for all requirements

The variety of layouts available in a Bavaria C50 is almost limitless and ranges from the classic 3-cabin version to the 5-cabin version, plus the skipper cabin in the bow.

As soon as you enter the saloon, you are struck by the unique lighting concept on board the Bavaria C50 and by its spacious luxury. On the port side the pantry leaves nothing to be desired and can cater to any size of crew dinner. Numerous work spaces and stowage areas make the pantry a pleasure to use, even at sea. The cooling options alone amount to 250 litres from the fridge to the freezer. And in the special wine cooler, there is space for more than twenty bottles of wine.

The navigation area on the starboard side is not just the central area for all navigational issues, it is also the control centre for all systems on board and, of course, a complete home office for anyone who can't stay away from the office even on holiday.

Pure daylight shines through the large hull windows on to the large U-shaped corner seating area on the port side and the lounge area on the starboard side. Nothing stands in the way of a relaxed crew dinner or a relaxing evening with a good glass of wine.

Maximum comfort and luxury is to be found on board the Bavaria C50, in all the cabin versions. At the same time, Bavaria Yachts has gone to great lengths to give both cabins an individual design. Whilst the guest cabins on the port side have a true king size bed, two separate berths on the starboard side ensure privacy.

The owner's cabin in the bow of the Bavaria C50 can really be called a suite. A queen size bed, a dressing table, a separate shower and bath and, of course, lots of stowage room for personal effects are all just a matter of course for Bavaria Yachts when they fit out a yacht of this size.

In the 3-cabin version, each cabin naturally has its own bathroom. In addition, there is a separate shower for guests which can also be ordered as a cabinet. In the 4-cabin version there are two more large cabins in the bow.

A fifth cabin with bunk beds can be situated in the saloon, if required. As an optional extra, there is also a separate cabin with its own toilet for the skipper in the prow.

Sail fast but relaxed

Maurizio Cossutti and Alessandro Ganz from COSSUTTI YACHTS DESIGN guarantee the best sailing performance and reliable handling in the 15.55 metre-long Bavaria C50. The Italian yacht building team is known in the sailing scene for their fast and elegant sailing yachts.

The deck layout of the Bavaria C50 is designed for fast and relaxed sailing. With two winches on each of the port and starboard sides on the helmstands, the sails can be easily set and retrieved in all conditions and, of course, trimmed. From the helmstand, the helmsman always has the Bavaria C50, all the instruments and the sail in sight. Turning with the self-tacking jib is child's play and allows the Bavaria C50 to be controlled with just one hand.

There are no limits to relaxation

On board the Bavaria C50, relaxation is very much at the forefront, along with the joy of sailing. Behind the large bathing platform there is a dinghy garage and stowage space for everything needed for diving or snorkelling.

The cockpit with its two tables is the ideal spot for sunbathing or for the perfect lunch prepared on the BBQ grill in the cockpit with its own wetbar. More sun and lounge areas can be found on the structure and on the forecastle. So nothing stands in the way of a relaxing stay in a sheltered bay or in port.
