Summer Sailstice celebrates across the globe

The 18th annual Summer Sailstice celebration of sailing will be held on the weekend of June 23/24, 2018.

Events are registered with Summer Sailstice and held in various locations across the USA and the world including Azores, Bulgaria, Canada, and El Salvador with more international registrations being added weekly.

Hundreds of USA events are planned across the country. West Coast events include California Bay Area's longstanding tradition Encinal Yacht Club celebration, which invites everyone to enjoy the calm, warm waters of the Oakland estuary, along with entertainment, free sailboat rides, small boat racing, food, drink and activities at the club.

OCC School of Sailing and Seamanship in Newport Beach, CA is hosting its annual Summer Sailstice 'Discover Sailing' celebration. Yaquina Bay Yacht Club, Or is inviting the public to meet the members and experience sailing in the club's fifth annual YBYC Summer Sailstice Sailabration.

East Coast participants include Stonington Harbor Yacht Club, CT who are inviting the public to sail aboard the club's Ideal 18s. Davis Island Yacht Club, FL is hosting its fifth annual DIYC rally to Sail Pavilion. Rockland Yacht Club, ME is continuing its decadeslong tradition with the Solstice Race.
