From innovations in sailing deck hardware, stabilizers and safety devices, to the latest generation drones, SUPs and inflatable slides, there's something for every interest at the 30th anniversary Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), May 24-27, 2018.
SCIBS is renowned as the launching pad for the latest gear and gizmos associated with the boating and coastal lifestyle and Dominic O'Brien, SCIBS sales and exhibition manager, said this year's line-up of technology and marine accessories will be one of the best the Show has ever seen.
Global electronics giant Navico will be exhibiting a range of marine electronics from the Simrad, Lowrance and B&G brands.
Navico marketing director Michael Blackwell said the company would be showcasing the new Hook2 series of fish finders and fish finder and chartplotterr combos from Lowrance.
The Hook2 range boasts features usually found on high-end fish-finding gear, such as DownScan, SideScan, GPS navigation and premium chartplotting, at a great price point for the cost-conscious angler.
"We'll be unveiling this exciting new range at SCIBS, along with a new Simrad product that is aimed at the high-end of cruising and sports fishing," Mr Blackwell said.
"SCIBS is the first show of the year and is the perfect event to showcase our range of electronics for all boating and fishing categories. The event attracts a variety of visitors that are in line with our target markets."
Another major exhibitor at SCIBS, Raymarine will present the latest in its range of Axiom LightHouse™ Apps, the Raymarine LINK ™ mobile app, and Axiom integration for UAVs.

An incredible amount of technology has been packed into the new flagship product the Apollo 770, including the 32-bit DSP chipset, WIFI, Touchscreen interface, over-the-air software updates, and Party-Bus networking.
"Our system approach ensures every step of the audio pipeline is optimised through calculations by our engineers to deliver a superior listening experience – without the need for a tech-savvy understanding," managing director Chris Baird said.
