We start with news of the Monaco Boat Show and Australia's Superyacht Industry.

With strong support from Tourism Australia, Superyacht Australia, Australia's peak body for the superyacht industry will be showcasing the best of Australian brands at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show in the Darse Sud Pavilion QS1. Superyacht Australia have ensured a good cross section of industry will be present to profile the capability of the Australian Superyacht Industry and promote Australia and the South Pacific as an idyllic cruising destination offering first class service, quality refits, repairs and world class events.

In the USA, Riviera will showcase three sophisticated Sport Yachts at the United States Powerboat Show in Annapolis on Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, from 11 to 14 October. In partnership with the Riviera and Belize representative Grande Yachts International, Riviera will display the 6000, 5400 and 3600 Sport Yachts at City Dock.

In France, Fountaine Pajot has just unveiled a stunning new 45-foot sailing catamaran at the 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival. Set to become a leader in its class on the world cruising market, the new 45 incorporates a bold design, unprecedented living space, a luminous interior and a revolutionary new below-waterline hull design to further improve performance.

Also, in the U.S. attendees of the 28th International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) will be arriving next week in Tampa, Florida. Held from October 1st to October 4th in the Tampa Convention Centre, IBEX will feature three show floors with over 700 exhibitors from 21 different countries, pavilions, and a variety of educational and entertainment opportunities.

Looking to the future, the Marina Industries Association (MIA) has announce that Gold Coast Waterways Authority (GCWA) will be an active partner in next year's International Marina Conference and Trade Exhibition (Marinas19) taking place on the Gold Coast 27-28 May 2019. Marinas19 Committee Chairman Mike Harvey said it was very good for the industry to have GCWA associated with the conference.

While also back in Australia, Superyacht Australia welcomed industry stakeholders and NSW members to officially announce the takeover of the Superyacht Sydney cluster. Held at Circular Quay in Sydney Harbour last week, the event encouraged members and key industry players to network and learn about Superyacht Australia's objectives as the new administrator for NSW's superyacht industry body.

We may be moving toward summer but hot water is paramount to all boat users and whether for cooking or bathing, boats never seem to have enough hot water to satisfy demand. It's a different story when a 1700 Series Water Heater from Raritan Engineering is on board. Its proven design combines extreme efficiency with a compact size, and is glass-lined for a long, corrosion-free service life providing clean, fresh water.
