Did you attend the Grow Boating Marketing Summit on Digital Marketing at IBEX?

RIMTA staff came away with key takeaways, including a deeper awareness of the challenges marine companies face in connecting with today's boating consumers.

For example, did you know that 67% of boat buyers are self-educating and do their research on products and options before consulting a sales person? Or that 80% of mobile users ages 18 to 34 rely on Google before buying something new? Or that 66% of potential buyers would not give up personal data until the actual sale?

It's increasingly difficult to identify boat-buying prospects early in the decision-making cycle, but presenters at the Summit zeroed in on solutions -- from prospecting, to social media, to how video is revolutionizing business today.

All the talks at the Summit are archived here. Now that the boating season is winding down, take some time to listen to these presentations so you can make a plan for improved sales in 2019.
