Trailerable boat exhibitors will occupy an incredible 20,000sqm at the 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), a prime piece of real estate befitting the industry's fastest growing segment.

Those looking for a boat that can be stored on a trailer will find it at SCIBS, with dozens of global and national brands set to showcase their vessels in the hugely popular Sports, Leisure and Fishing precinct at the annual marine event from May 23-26.

Respected names such as Mako, Quintrex, Tracker, BRIG, Malibu Boats, Boston Whaler, Haines Signature, Nautique, Sportsman, Cruise Craft, Horizon, Fibrafort, Cobalt and Seafox are just a few of the Australian and international brands that will be on show.

SCIBS Sales and Exhibition Manager Dominic O'Brien said the segment, which covers tenders, performance RIBS, fishing sport boats and high-powered wake and ski boats, was going from strength to strength.

"The trailerable boat market is the fastest growing of all boat segments and one of the most exciting," said Mr O'Brien, who oversees an event that delivers collective sales worth hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

"SCIBS is renowned as the launch pad for boats of all sizes and the trailerable boat market is particularly vibrant."

Among exhibitors that have already staked a claim in the trailerable boats precinct is JSW Powersports, which will present an array of vessels from the Seafox, Malibu and Axis brands along with its 2019 line-up of Sea-Doo products.

"We plan to display around 10 Malibu and Axis boats, with two boats in water for sea trials in the demo area, and up to seven Seafox boats ranging from 18ft to 28ft," JSW Powersports Marketing Manager Oliver Bennett said.

The team from Malibu Boats will make the trip from its Albury, Victoria facility to show off the feature-filled 2019 models of its wakeboard and wakesurfing boats, while Nautique Central will exhibit five of its US-built Nautique range of specialist wakeboard, wakesurf and ski boats.

From Orlando, Florida, the award-winning Nautique range suits Australian conditions and has consistently won 'Wakeboat of the Year' since 2013.

"All our boats are a standout but the Super Air Nautique G23 is the flagship of the brand," Nautique Central's Sam Greenland said. "It's the industry-leading vessel and will be a head-turner at SCIBS 2019.

"SCIBS is always a great show for us. We are located in Southport and the event brings us customers from all over Australia and New Zealand. We always find SCIBS provides a good crowd and excellent sales leads for the rest of the year."

Sirocco Marine North has booked extended space for the event as it plans to showcase a larger range of 30 RIBS spanning the BRIG, Williams and Sirocco brands, including the Williams Minijet 280, Williams Turbojet 325 and all-new BRIG Eagle 8, Eagle 6 and Eagle 5.

The Eagle 8 - BRIG's new 8m go-anywhere cruiser - will captivate devotees of the brand and a new generation of boaties looking for myriad features as standard. With room for up to 11 people, it is powered by the acclaimed Yamaha 300hp four-stroke engine.

Nitro Marine will return to its prime spot on Masthead Way with the first-ever look at the results of an exciting tri-country collaboration.

Working with a New Zealand family building boats in China, the long-running Gold Coast marine business will launch a family-orientated range of Nitro Marine fibreglass fishing boats ranging from 5.8m-6.5m with cabin, walk-around and Kiwi-Australian hull. A 6.2m dual-console option will also be on offer.

"It's the best of both worlds because we're working with top-class Kiwi boat builders accessing Chinese costs so we can keep prices down," Nitro Marine General Manager James Neilsen said.

"Our mission is to provide the best value boats we can for our customers and people in the industry have looked at this range and said 'Wow, you're going to do well with these'."

The oldest and largest Mercury franchise on the Gold Coast, Nitro Marine will also showcase its wide range of Mako, Tracker, SunTracker, Polycraft and SeaJay boats.

From Australian Marine Centre, all eyes will be on a selection of Bar Crusher boats, which are made in Victoria, and Haines Signature boats, Formosa offshore fishing boats and Aquamaster alloy boats, all proudly made in Queensland.

Northside Marine will showcase about 16 boats, among them a range of the latest models from Stabicraft, Whittley Cruisers, Surtees boats and Sportsman centre-console boats from the US, all powered by Yamaha engines.

The business will also offer special SCIBS packages including boat, trailer and engines.

Wynnum Marine is preparing to present a good selection from the Cruise Craft range, proudly made in Brisbane since 1946 by the Nichols family.

The highlight of the Cruise Craft display will be the launch of the 2019 new centre console boat - the F360M, a 6.35m fully-composite construction trailerable boat. Set up for all kinds of fishing, the F360M boasts 200hp engine, built-in tackle box, self-draining floor, more than 700L of storage, hydraulic steering and many more features for comfort, safety and efficiency.

Queensland Marine Centre (QMC) will have as many as 30 boats on show in the dedicated trailer boat precinct under the iconic US-made Boston Whaler, SeaRay, Mastercraft and Dorado brands. Mastercraft, a specialist wakeboard boat brand, is also among its fleet, with QMC to offer boat-motor-trailer packages, using Ilmor engines also from the US.

In an Australian debut, Cobalt Boats will unveil its dynamic 23SC outboard boat, along with a line-up that includes the Cobalt R7, 2019 edition R5, CS 23 and 200S models.

"We have something for everyone," said Cobalt Boats Managing Director Brett Thurley.

"From entry-level at 20ft to 28ft, there will be a diverse selection of family-friendly, open bow day boats and we will also be launching Bennington pontoon boats the US-built, luxury range with a 20, 23 and 25ft Bennington on display."

Brisbane Quintrex, one of the country's biggest boat dealerships, will present a selection of Quintrex, Baysport and Yellowfin boats - "a hardcore plate fishing boat range" according to Dealer Principal Aaron Goodchild.

"SCIBS 2019 is on track to be the biggest ever in terms of trailer boats," he said.

"We will have 40 boats in total, ranging from 3.5m to 7m and all with factory-backed specials and unbeatable deals on offer over the four days."

Gold Coast Boating Centre has invested in an 800sq m space to showcase about 30 boats across the Horizon, Stessco, Formosa by Sea-Rod and Stessel brands, along with Dunbier trailers and Yamaha outboard motors.

There will be boats in the bow rider, centre console and side console styles, from entry-level starting about $10,000 up to $100,000-plus and with 2019 models to suit all budgets and boating lifestyles.

With its trademark rainbow banner, Stefan Boating World will display the latest model 702 Karnic motor yacht, a dynamic 24-footer that is an ideal fishing or day boat and boasts a double cabin, bathroom and sunbed, along with being towable - all at a great price.

Made in Brazil, the fabulous Fibrafort range was designed in collaboration with Porsche Consulting and spans 21-40ft, while Reflex boats is described by Stefan Boating World Director Steve Ackerie as "the best value family boat in Australia, exceptionally roomy for its size and packed full of features".

"SCIBS really is Australia's premier boat show, for its location, the amazing boating lifestyle it conveys and the Marine Village atmosphere," Mr Ackerie said.

"It's world-class and SCIBS 2019 will be a show not to be missed."
