Ribco, a leader in premium high-performance Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs), will kick-off the local 2019 Boat Show season with a debut at the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous on the Gold Coast, 17th 19th May, and the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), 23rd 26th May.

The start of the local show season coincides with the first of Ribco's 2019 releases, the next generation of its luxurious flagship vessel, the 2019 Venom 44, which features a new spacious deck design and the latest triple Mercury Verado V8 engines.

According to Oliver Workman of Ribco Australia, "Ribco is committed to continue to showcase our growing range of luxury RIBS with the release of new vessel models that are unmatched in luxury, detail, speed, efficiency, safety and high-performance capability. The next generation 2019 Venom 44 embodies Ribco's unwavering commitment to quality, engineering and testing to ensure confident, agile and faultless operations while at sea."

Front lining the Ribco 2019 model releases, the next generation Venom 44 vessel offers all the luxury and high-performance features of its predecessor while featuring a new spacious deck design layout with eight individual hydraulic cockpit seats for ultimate comfort. The latest Venom 44 model includes all electronically operated hatches and is fitted with the smooth, refined power of triple Mercury Verado V8 engines to deliver an exhilarating acceleration and top speed to run offshore with confidence.

From luxury tender to offshore performance machine, Ribco RIBs are positioned as the most seaworthy, versatile and well-built luxury performance RIBs available in the market today. This was confirmed with the recent appointment of Ribco as official chase boat partner for the Australian SailGP Team. The Ribco range of superior performance RIBs were showcased alongside the turbo-charged foiling F50-class catamarans during the inaugural global SailGP race on Sydney Harbour, 15th 16th February 2019.

At the upcoming Australian Superyacht Rendezvous and SCIBS events, Ribco will showcase two of the custom built SailGP vessels. This includes a silver-grey 2019 Seafarer 36, with two white cowling 350hp Mercury Verados, and a SailGP special edition R28s fitted with four jockey seats and one 400hp Mercury Racing Outboard, assigned as the official chase boat for Team Australia. The Seafarer 36 will feature on the water at the Marina displays of both the Australian Superyacht Rendezvous and SCIBS, while the R28s display will be at The Promenade adjacent to the high-performing luxury vehicles strip at SCIBS.
