Rivergate Marina & Shipyard has been recognised as the Best Marina Boat Yard 20+ Boats at the Club Marine Marina of the Year Awards 2019-2020, held during a gala dinner at Sea World to celebrate the conclusion of Marinas19.

Rivergate was also runner up in the Best Commercial Marina under 140 boats.

"It's extremely pleasing," said Rivergate Director, Tom Hill. "The entire team takes immense pride in the presentation of the marina and shipyard. We are all dedicated to constant innovation and improvement of systems and procedures which results in a world-class outcome for every customer."

Colin Bransgrove, Executive Officer of the Marina Industries Association praised category winners and said "The MIA and Board were thrilled with the number and quality of entries this year".

"All winners were well-deserved and it was heartening to see a noticeable increase in investment and professionalism in operations, processes, marketing and all aspects of the businesses.

"We are committed to nurturing Australian marinas and their personnel to ensure they are ready with the required facilities and service ethos, not just for the forecast influx of superyachts from around the region, but also to offer high quality service to the local market."

Steve Fisher, Rivergate's Director of International Business said the Awards were testament to Rivergate's effort and energy in continual improvement and innovation.

"We invest in training and enhancing our skills, upgrading our facilities for our tenants and customers, and we strive for world's best practices in all areas," he said.

"Key personnel attend yacht shows and industry events promoting Rivergate and flying the flag for the Australian industry.

"Our customer service is the key to sustainability. Rivergate has built its reputation on providing 5-star service and turnkey operation to meet the needs of our clients. It is this level of service provided by all staff within the marina, shipyard, project management teams and management, which over the past 13 years of business has ensured repeat trade."
