Coast Guard Foundation hosts 2019 Tribute to the United States Coast Guard in Nation's Capital

The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to the education and well-being of all Coast Guard members and their families, announced that its 15th Annual Tribute to the United States Coast Guard in Our Nation's Capital will take place on Tuesday June 4, 2019 at the National Building Museum, Washington, D.C.
This year's event will recognize the Foundation's 50th anniversary and will show appreciation for those who have made its work possible. The Honorable Norm Mineta, former Secretary of Transportation, and the Honorable Tom Ridge, former Secretary of Homeland Security, are honorary dinner co-chairs of the event. Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kevin McAleenan, will provide keynote remarks. Kyra Phillips, investigative correspondent, ABC News and Admiral Thad Allen, USCG (Ret.) will serve as the masters of ceremonies. The Coast Guard Band and Ceremonial Honor Guard will be featured.
The Coast Guard Foundation's Tribute to the United States Coast Guard in Our Nation's Capital will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the National Building Museum, 440 G Street NW, Washington, D.C. A cocktail reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and program following at 7:30 p.m.
