Colligo Marine is supporting the ALS Foundation again on a Figaro Beneteau 3! Charles Devanneaux of NAOS Yachts and Fred Courouble of Courouble Design and Engineering will be sailing in the 2019 Transpac.
This year the Transpacific Yacht Club is celebrating their 50th anniversary of its biennial ocean race. The race begins on July 10th in Los Angeles. Sailors will be racing to Honolulu, Hawaii.
Charles and Fred will be sailing their semi foiler, A Fond Le Girafon. Last year, this boat raced in the Pacific Cup with all new Colligo Dux Running Backstays, Cheeky Tangs, Stacker Block Purchase Systems, and Snatch Blocks for their sheet leads. This year, the boat features Colligo Marine Standing Rigging.
Colligo Dux is not just for Cruisers, but presents the best value in synthetic rigging at 1/5 the cost of carbon rigging! With Colligo Marine Synthetic Standing Rigging, there is low weight and high strength. It is also sized for equivalent stretch to wire.
Charles and Fred are continuing their fundraiser, Sailing for ALS. They will be racing to raise money for ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. They started this campaign in 2014 in honor of their late friend. Their goal this year is to raise $100,000. If you would like to contribute to this wonderful cause see www.alsa.org
