Ribco, a leader in premium Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs), has been appointed the official chase boat partner for the Wild Oats XI Team. The Ribco superior performance RIBs will showcase on Sydney Harbour alongside the supermaxi yacht Wild Oats XI, as it races towards line honours in the 75th Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, 26th December 2019.

From luxury tender to offshore performance machine, Ribco RIBs are positioned as the most seaworthy, versatile and well-built luxury performance RIBs available in the market today. This makes Ribco RIBs perfectly suited to keep up with the ocean racing thoroughbred Wild Oats XI, one of the world's fastest and technologically advanced ocean racing yachts.

Owned by the Oatley family, Wild Oats XI has been awarded line honours nine times in the Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race and her helmsman, Mark Richards, is recognised as the race's most successful skipper.

"Wild Oats XI is delighted to be working with Ribco in the lead up to the 2019 Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race. The Ribco boats offer the Wild Oats XI team the highest quality in performance and capability as we compete for line honours in the 75th Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race," said Mark Richards, Skipper of Wild Oats XI.

According to Oliver Workman of Ribco Australia, "Ribco is excited to partner with the Wild Oats XI team. Every Ribco vessel is the culmination of over two decades of design engineering and testing in the toughest conditions to ensure confident, agile and faultless operations while blasting alongside the world's fastest racing yachts. Together with the Wild Oats XI team we look forward to delivering on our goals of unmatched speed, efficiency, safety and high-performance capability in the chase towards the 75th Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race."
