For its first presentation for the great audience of the French nautical industry, the Seafloatech system, led by Lionel Péan, not only aroused interest and enthusiasm, but also received the 2019 Coup de Coeur Award, from a jury composed of great professionals, Nicolas Hénard, President of the French Sailing Federation (FFV), Denis Robin, Chief of staff for the Minister of Overseas France, Frédéric Moncany de Saint-Aignan President Cluster Maritime Français (CMF) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure Maritime and Bruno Belmont, Bénéteau Group's product development division.

During the Boat Show, Seafloatech had the privilege of receiving personalities who were interested in this process, such as Annick Girardin, Minister of Overseas Territories, Renaud Muselier, former Minister and President of the South Region, Xavier Bertrand, President of the Regional Council of Hauts-de-France and Philippe Vitel, Vice-President of the South Region. Unfortunately, the social context in France and in Paris was not favourable to a record attendance for the Boat Show but it is certain that in the weeks and months to come, ports, nautical bases and professionals will look with interest at the solutions proposed by Seafloatech. Preserving nature without "tearing" the seabed with blocks of concrete or multiple anchorages, such are the virtues of this structure called Seafloatech POD. An installation that can compensate for tides, waves and storms without affecting the seabed. A healthy and indispensable solution for the future development of the nautical sector along the seafront and inland waterways.

This "Coup de Coeur" prize is important for us but it also complements the 2019 "Marin High-Tech" Innovation Trophy that we won earlier this year. This recognition is very gratifying and rewards the investment of an entire team. Most of our work is now ahead of us. We will have to work hard to convince elected officials of the importance of coastal development, but also all the players in the sector. Seafloatech is truly a solution for new living platforms on the sea. The market is huge and our solution is fairly simple to implement while preserving the seabed as much as possible, whatever it may be", commented Lionel Péan, President and Founder of Seafloatech.

It now seems inconceivable to continue denaturing the seabed, whether it is sandy, rocky or strewn with posidonia. The Seafloatech POD is adaptable to the seabed and modular. An ideal solution to find on the website, www.seafloatech.com.
