The 2020 Progressive® Insurance Miami International Boat Show, presented by West Marine, kicks off yesterday at Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin and runs through President's Day. 2020 marks the show's 79th year and its 5th year on Virginia Key, showcasing the industry's most comprehensive collection of new recreational boats and boating products. With boat sales at their second highest volume in 12 years, and nearly 100,000 attendees anticipated to cruise into Miami for the show, the five-day world-class event is expected to boost industry sales heading into Q2.

The Miami Boat Show team has taken feedback from exhibitors and attendees and is continuing to streamline transportation options for this year, making it easier to get to and from the show. Transportation for 2020 includes complimentary water taxis to and from downtown Miami, new water taxi service between the boat show and Miami Yacht Show, a partnership with Florida's Brightline train, and more shuttle bus options.
