From humble beginnings in Albury back in 1966 through to their most recent regional Brisbane based head office and warehouse facility established in Virginia in 1988, Twin Disc Pacific has relocated to a large state of the art regional headquarters in Eagle Farm, Brisbane.

Total land area housing the facility is 6,639-square-metres, with the building itself an impressive 2,700-square-metres featuring office, campus style café facilities, warehouse and industry leading workshop all under one roof.

The new facility is the regional headquarters for Twin Disc whilst also operating as the distribution centre for all Twin Disc marine and land based products, their supporting brands along with Seakeeper and Sea Torque products.

20 employees are based at the facility including Regional Management, Finance and Administration, Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Project Technicians and Sales Engineers. Three fully equipped service vans and two service utilities service the entire east coast of Australia from the new facility, supporting customers and dealers wherever they are located, while on-site Project Technicians and Sales Engineers work closely to provide assistance with solutions, technical support and commissioning.

Over $8 million in stock is on hand in the 900 plus square metres of warehousing to ensure prompt and reliable delivery of new products or spare parts, allowing for rapid response to clients' requirements.

The impressive workshop facility is world-class, featuring diesel and electric transmission test stands equipped with data acquisition and monitoring for increased quality management. Individual work stations have been designed and constructed to aid efficiencies with individual hoists and direct electronic access to Twin Disc specific literature, manuals and test specs to ensure that every job is completed to the highest standard.

A purpose-built wash down bay helps to reduce contamination and maintain a super clean work environment, alongside paint stripping and parts cleaning machines to assist with accurate condition assessment and parts preparation prior to repair and re-paint. A highlight of the workshop is the industry leading paint booth. The booth was designed so that all sizes of equipment can be retouched or repainted to as-new condition.

"We pride ourselves on delivering premium quality products and solutions, in a safe, timely and efficient manner all to our clients' expectations," said Twin Disc Pacific Managing Director Glenn Frettingham.

"Our new facility will allow us to continue to improve on this commitment whilst offering a purpose designed and built environment to allow increased focus on training and staff development to ensure our core mission of integrity, people, quality, and value remain the focus for many decades to come," he added.

The opening for the Brisbane based Regional Headquarters for Twin Disc Pacific follows the opening of the marine specific Twin Disc Pacific Experience Centre at The Boatworks in the Gold Coast Marine Precinct in September last year. Both facilities are key to the growth of the Twin Disc, Seakeeper and Sea Torque brands in the Pacific Region.
