On Wednesday Sail-World's camera crossed the harbour for a different take on the Emirates Team NZ test boat Te Kahu, going through race practice around three laid marks on the Waitemata Harbour - on Course C.

Here's a selection of images from the day - many of which are backlit with the sun well to the north as we near the shortest day (June 22). The backdrops are of Devonport a heritage area of Auckland, and one of the early boat building areas in Auckland.
