Williams Jet Tenders, the world's leading jet tender specialist, is continuing to expand its production capacity after seeing increased customer orders for its full range of tenders and selling all stock boats over the last three months.
Like many other marine companies, Williams Jet Tenders ceased production on 24 March in accordance with Government guidelines, but a skeleton team returned shortly after to the factory in April to meet customers' orders, with Williams fulfilling all deliveries during the lockdown period.
Mathew Hornsby, Sales Director at Williams Jet Tenders, commented: "The safety of our team was our number one priority and it felt right to close the factory in March. We envisaged closing for some time, but orders continued to come in and so we made the decision to return with a small team in April as we did not want to let any customers down. We had originally scaled back our forecasting to build a smaller number of boats each week, but because the orders have continued at a good pace, we've had to scale up our teams each week to meet this demand."
Throughout this period, Williams Jet Tenders has remained fully focused on its strategic planning, high quality product and meeting customers' requirements.
Mathew continues: "Our strong business position and investment in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, meant we could swiftly resume building and shipping tenders. The flexibility and strength of our supply chain has been phenomenal, allowing us to scale production quickly and to fulfil all orders. It's also allowed us to continue with our new product and model upgrade plans as scheduled, ensuring we retain our market leading position moving forward."
