In the light of the UK's new 24 July ruling about face coverings, Piet Poelmann, CEO of Zhik is proud to introduce a new face mask that is weatherproof, washable and comfortable. It is not just another face mask.
Zhik's industrial design team has thought this through, like with so many of the other ingenious products Zhik prides itself with. Now that COVID-19 restrictions have eased and it is safe to go back on the water again, it has proven to be a great product. Poelmann has tested it himself.
"When it gets wet with the spray of the bow, it still feels very comfortable. It is quick drying on the downwind stretch. Best of all, at the end of the day, just hand wash it; and you are ready for another great day on the water."
It is also a popular product for off the water, as so many sports and activities require you to wear a face mask, while social distancing during exercise.
The face mask is of non-medical grade and made of Polyurethane. The foam feels comfortable on the skin and is quick drying. For high activity, the mask features a regulating one-way valve to breathe out easily. In case of an emergency, the mask can be removed quickly with one hand.
