Barton Marine has partnered with DeckHardware Marine Solutions Australasia to distribute its extensive range of deck gear across the Australasia region. Barton's popular, durable and innovative blocks and traveller car systems and accessories alongside the wider range of deck equipment will be available for chandleries, OEMs and riggers to order in September.

Barton is a pioneer of leisure marine hardware with a robust history dating back to 1948 when founder Ron Barton was the first to use Tufnol to develop a range of lighter and stronger blocks before leading the industry into plastic moulding in the 1960s. Innovation has remained the creed at Barton and in 2018 the full block range was redesigned to include new contemporary styling, lower profiles and higher load ratings. The range is competitive for everyone from dinghy sailors to cruising yacht owners adding a new dimension to DeckHardware's marketplace.

DeckHardware are the ideal partners as a well-respected and widely known distributor of boating products supplying in the Australasia territory. Aiming to support and promote Australian Sailing, the Yeomans family have over 55 years combined experience within the marine industry and are all passionate and knowledgeable sailors enabling them to provide an unrivalled service to their customers. "We first met the team at Barton a decade ago," says Melissa Yeomans, "and now in 2020 we are excited by this new opportunity. We see Barton Marine complimenting the brands we currently distribute and enhancing the sport that is strong in our region. As well as growing our range of industrial and classic options, its fantastic to be able to distribute a brand with such a rich history."

Suzanne Blaustone, CEO Barton Marine said, "It is great to have DeckHardware onboard helping to promote and build Barton's presence in the Australia region. There is great synergy between the Barton Team and the die-hard sailors in the Yeomans family. They know their market well and they teach us more everyday about the region and what their customers require of marine equipment."
