New Maritimos showcased in Grand Tour of East and West Coasts

Australian motor yacht manufacturer, Maritimo's team in the Americas is about to start a Grand Tour of nine individual East and West Coast locations to showcase an exciting line up of both X Series and flybridge models at VIP events.
Maritimo's Americas' President, Dave Northrop, said enquiry rates had been high across the board in recent months and with Covid-19 boat show cancellations and people generally not wanting to inspect or view boats in crowded environments the Grand Tour was designed to give people the chance to see new models first hand.
"The market has improved and is only growing in strength, as boat buyers see boating as the perfect investment for time away with their families" he said.
"Considering the environment where the major boat shows are cancelled we decide that the best alternative was to have a series of smaller, more intimate showings in prime locations.
The first of the Grand Tour events will be held in Newport Beach, California, from September 11 to 14 and the last will be in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from November 5 to 9.
Other locations for Grand Tour events will be Seattle, San Diego, Newport (Rhode island), Baltimore, Norfolk and Charleston.
The new Maritimo X- Series coupe will take pride of place alongside some of Maritimo's long range flybridge cruising motoryachts.
"These events will be the chance for people to speak with Maritimo specialists, explore our range with personal tours and in a private , Covid safe environment," said Northrop.
"We are very excited to be kicking the tour off in a few weeks and look forward to showcased these magnificent vessels."
He said re-registration was essential and there were limited numbers available so anyone interested should contact Maritimo promptly or fill out the forms online.
"Our promotional mantra has been 'don't worry about boat shows being cancelled we will bring the boats to you'," he said.
He said the Maritmo range had broad appeal in the Americas with the climate controlled flybridge models being particularly popular.
"Maritimo has always had a strong following in the Americas and our brand recognition increases year on year," he said.
"Buyers recognize the exceptional seakeeping capability of the models in our range and married up with the design quality and superior build we offer a unique package compared to the competition."
