boot Düsseldorf responsibly faces the current "normality". "Exhibitors and the water sports community can rely on a sophisticated, comprehensive hygiene and infection protection concept, developed in close consultation with the authorities and in coordination with the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia, which can be adapted to the situation at any time.

boot Düsseldorf is the starting signal for a successful water sports season 2021", says Petros Michelidakis, Project Director of boot Düsseldorf. The fair will be the driving force for the upcoming water sports season next January as well. It will give sailing, motorboat drivers, divers and surfers important impulses for the future-oriented development of their sport.

At the digital press conference on 4 November 2020, the fair will report on the status of preparations and the industry's prospects together with the water sports associations. Also on board will be the President of boot and the German Marine Federation (BVWW), Robert Marx, the Secretary General of the European Boating Industry (EBI), Philip Easthill, the Chairman of the Diving Industry Association (tiv), Thomas Dederichs, the President of the German Sport Divers' Association (vdst), Dr. Uwe Hoffmann, as well as, for surfing, the Trade Fair Council member Florian Brunner.

The press conference can be seen live on the stream in the press area on boot.com. Also on board at the Media Conference are exhibitors such as Bavaria Yachts, Hanse Yachts, the Bénéteau Group as well as Sanlorenzo, Azimut, Princess and Aqualung.

Michelidakis: "On 4th November, we will use our digital expertise to network the players on site and in video clips with the trade media around the world in order to efficiently inform them about current topics such as freedom to travel for exhibitors and trade fair visitors".

boot Düsseldorf will take place from 23rd to 31st January in 17 halls of the Düsseldorf fairground. Under the motto "Reboot your business" around 1,500 exhibitors will be on board the fair. Messe Düsseldorf has already successfully implemented its officially approved hygiene and infection protection concept "PROTaction" at CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF in September.
