In less than three weeks time, key voices from the leisure marine industry will meet online for three days of discovery, innovation, and collaboration at the first ever digital version of the British Marine Autumn Expo.

Taking place on 10-12 November 2020, British Marine is thrilled to open registration for the British Marine Autumn Expo. This must-attend event for leisure marine businesses has a packed schedule of live webinars and interactive working sessions with keynote speakers from the industry and the British Marine team.

One of the leading speakers lined-up is Brian Johnson, Chief Executive of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency, who will be sharing his thoughts on what the future work environment might look like, followed by an open Q&A session. Other speakers confirmed, alongside the British Marine experts, are a variety of keynote speakers from across the industry including Richard Parry and Gareth Stevens from the Canal & River Trust who will be providing a full update on our waterways and engineer and consultant Jamie Marley from Electric & Hybrid Propulsion, and Graeme Hawksley from Hybrid Marine Ltd who will discuss the future of alternative propulsion. Further speakers and a more detailed agenda will be announced next week.

British Marine members can join the Expo for free, and simply need to register online now for three days of discovery, innovation, and collaboration. Companies and individuals who are not members of British Marine are also invited to join the Expo through an attractive ticket offer.

The British Marine Autumn Expo will cover content from across all sectors and facilitate conversations across our diverse industry in these challenging times. Key items on the agenda will include Participation, Brexit, Environment, Technical Update, COVID-19, Mental Health, Marina Operational Standards and Apprenticeships.

Furthermore, it has been designed to include dedicated networking sessions and the opportunity to engage and learn from like-minded professionals and find collaborators - an activity that has been difficult to do this year.

Lesley Robinson, CEO at British Marine, commented: "2020 has been an unprecedented year with many lessons to learn and huge changes in the way we work. The British Marine Autumn Expo will be a great opportunity to bring the industry together to share this knowledge as we prepare for 2021. The Expo has a super agenda delivering leading expertise, a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities and we look forward to welcoming industry professionals online."
