THE NEW FURLERS GENERATION BY KARVER

After more than 2 years of work, the entire Karver team is happy to announce the launch of our new furlers range.
Karver is the inventor of many features that have since become market standards. Once again, we are offering a furler that is more innovative, more efficient, more beautiful and accessible to all.

Always one step ahead !

Carbon / Kevlar continuous line : better grip and less rope wear
Silicone drum protection : avoids impacts with the deck or the hull
Integrated snap shackle : shorter, more resistant and can be used as a friction sheave

The new range of Karver furlers is 2 major innovations and a multitude of new very clever advantages :

The whole new range is now equipped with a patented Carbon / Kevlar ® continuous line wheel

This unique design improves grip and decreases wear on the maneuvering line.

The weight gain has been "reallocated" on the internal mechanics to make it even more reliable and resistant.

Like many other products in our catalog (handles, blocks, jammers, etc.), the use of carbon allows us to offer a version with a very elegant natural wood veneer.,

optional and standard on the Classic version.

Second major innovation : the K SNAP

Our new 2 in 1 snap shackle is both a traditional snap shackle but also a 2-part friction sheave very useful for safely installing your furler on a bowsprit or on the bow.

The K Snap also has the particularity of being much more compact than a traditional snap shackle and it can withstand the full load of the furler without flinching.

2 new features on the models offered :

We have added a model to the range to avoid some boats having to buy an oversized furler (KF1.5 - 3.0 - 4.5 - 6.0 - 8.0 - )
The KF1.5 and 3.0 are now available with a large version as in this photo. Very useful for reducing efforts or for having more power during operations.

Super carbon fans can now equip their furler with a full carbon housing.

Unlike the continuous line wheel which is naturally protected, the carbon housing is more easily exposed to scratches and impacts but the aesthetics or the search for weight gain are at this price.

Karver was the first to equip its swivels with impact-resistant protection. We push the concept a little further with perfectly ergonomic protection on the swivel AND the housing.

The little name of this new protection is the K KroK !

Standard on all swivels and ABS housings.

All of our swivels are fitted with our new captive fast pins release button.

A new, even more reliable and ergonomic design that facilitates opening with one hand.

We have given the mission to several Figaro 3, Class 40 and Imoca skippers to check the reliability of our furlers. The result is such that we have decided to offer an additional year of warranty if the furler is registered on our website.

Our priority : performance for all ! This new range is definitely the most compact, the lightest, the one with the least friction, but these advantages do not only benefit demanding racers.

What yachtsman would complain about having less force to set up or operate his sails ?
