Indi Rainu (FCCA) joins Sonihull at its Coventry Headquarters after a number of high-profile commercial finance roles within industry and practice covering the energy, construction, technology and retail sectors.

Indi started his career at KPMG and has had senior finance positions at National Grid and Cadent Gas. Most recently, Indi was the Group Senior Finance Business Partner at Flooid, a retail commerce software provider and has helped the business strategically grow and transition from a privately-owned business to an SME Private-equity backed business.

"Indi brings a wealth of experience to the team, which will be a great asset during this period of rapid growth," says Darren Rowlands, CEO of Sonihull. "His skillset and energy are well matched to the senior leadership team and will help steer the business on this exciting journey."

"I'm really looking-forward to working with Sonihull and to help the business grow to its full potential," said Rainu of his appointment. "To be part of a company that not only is a market leader, but a key innovator in green technology is something I am passionate about."

"The pandemic is causing all kinds of disruption in the leisure marine sector," noted Rowlands. "From cancelled boat shows to closed marinas. But, one thing remains constant, algae, weeds and barnacles are still growing on boats."

"Our systems can protect hulls, pipework, cooling systems, propellers and stern drives from the rigours of fouling, without the need for poisonous antifouling. What's more, they can be fitted by small Covid-safe teams and need very little power to be effective, perfect for shore or battery power."
