Extra Yachts, a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, closes 2020 by announcing the sale of the second unit of the new Extra X99 model.

A few days away from the sale of the first model, Extra Yachts welcomes a new customer to the distinguished Palumbo Superyachts family.

The exterior design and engineering are the joint effort by the technical team of Palumbo Superyachts and Guida Design while the Florentine studio Luca Dini Design & Architecture is responsible for the interior.

The older sister of Extra X76 and Extra X86, Extra X99 conveys modernity, large volumes and comfort for the sake of fun and sociability. All spaces have been optimized with talented and functional solutions and every detail has been carefully thought out.

Among Extra X99's key features are:

  • 30 metres of personality, comfort and fun, Jacuzzi, 2 jet-skis, Williams 395 tender with side garage, transformer and side balconies folding down into the cockpit,
  • 7.10m maximum beam, 1.5m draft, 65sqm cockpit, 41sqm fly bridge,
  • 34 knots top speed with jet propulsion,
  • Solar panels and environmental sensitivity.
The cockpit, with its 65 square metres, together with a transformer on the deck, provides also a generously sized sundeck, a living area with two large C-shaped sofas, a dual-mode dining table and bar counter to make the most of conviviality at the astern galley (which has always been a distinctive feature of the Extra layout on the Extra X76 and Extra X86 models). In addition, two opening balconies have been integrated into this area.

By comparison with the previous one, hull number 2 boasts a different configuration of the main salon which, in this instance, houses an 8-seater dining table as well as a comfortable L-shaped sofa.

The lower deck includes 1 VIP cabin forward and 2 large double cabins with twin beds, all with private bathrooms. Amidships, the full-beam master cabin with bathroom, walk-in closet and sofa.

Planing hull and superstructure in GRP with carbon reinforcements are combined with 2 MTUs of 2600hp and hydrojet pushing this model to a maximum speed of 34 knots.

The 4-metre tender is stored in the garage positioned laterally on the starboard side.

Delivery is due in 2022.
