Grand Banks Yachts Limited (GBY:SP)— Grand Banks Yachts is proud to announce that their critically acclaimed GB60 will be on display at the upcoming 2021 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), to be held May 20-23 in Sanctuary Cove, Queensland.
The Grand Banks display will feature a new GB60, the third such hull to arrive in the fast-growing Australian market. The GB60 is the thoroughbred model in the Grand Banks lineup that was reimagined several years ago by CEO and world-class sailor, Mark Richards. Despite her stunning looks that harken back to Grand Banks DNA of old, the new design features formidable performance—thanks to the unique V-Warp™ hull and latest carbon fibre weight-saving construction techniques—and an updated aesthetic. With top speeds exceeding 35 knots and a modest fuel burn at the full range of speeds, the GB60 offers customers a class-leading 2,500 nautical mile cruise at 10 knots or a paltry fuel burn of 29 gallons per hour at 20 knots.
Just as much thought was put into the interior design of the GB60, reflecting a contemporary feel and preserving the yacht's wide-open views from stem to stern. The standard layout presents three distinct staterooms, two with full queen-size island berths and an ensuite master head.
The GB60 will be on display in a new section of the marina and then will leave for a tour of Europe over the upcoming summer. Soon, the GB60 will have to step aside as the fleet flagship since the company recently announced the exciting new GB85 project. Check out the exhibitor's list for Grand Banks Yachts and Palm Beach Motor Yachts at sanctuarycoveboatshow.co.au for updated location information.
Grand Banks Yachts open new sales and client support hub in NSW
Due to growing demand in Australia and the surrounding region, Grand Banks Yachts has recently relocated its Australian headquarters in Newport (NSW) with a marina that boasts full-service sales and service capabilities. The company has enjoyed its strongest sales turnover in the last 12 months with significant demand for its yachts in the Australia/New Zealand regions.
The company's Newport facility is another strategic investment designed to maintain value and enhance the customer experience. By having a factory-direct sales model, there is a 100-percent focus on the customer by company employees, and they are 100-percent focused on the marque's product lines. The new facility includes a full-service marina with a company service and warranty team who can also be mobile for customers throughout the country. "It's fantastic to now have this strategic location on the Pittwater, with terrific access for Greater Sydney and central coast customers." says CEO Mark Richards. "We have a very motivated and experienced team that schedules and services our clients' yachts at this easy-to-access facility. Bringing the yachts here is always the priority, however, when that is not possible, our team is set up to go to the customer when necessary...geography is no barrier!"
