Yamaha Motor has been revving hearts for over 65 years. Known for being at the forefront of marine innovation and for its superior quality engines, at Yamaha we are focused on serving all marine users, making enjoyment of the water available to all.

Yamaha are driven by a passion to empower more people with leisure time on the water, from the premium powerhouses of the XTO 425hp V8 outboard and GP1800R SVHO Waverunner to the pick-up-and-go portable 2.5hp outboard.

The brand's signature blend of excitement and high-quality engineering were brought to life in a brand-new way with the 2020 release of the fully redesigned range of YAM inflatable boats. Today, Yamaha announces the new range of aluminium hull inflatable boats, offering a fresh, modern look and a wide range of features, all of which have proved incredibly popular with customers.

Ideal for family days out, adventures with friends or even simple tender duties, these boats are durable, lightweight and have excellent handling. Yamaha's premium inflatables have many of the features you would expect from a luxury tender, paired with engineering excellence and uncompromising build quality.

New YAM 350, 310 and 270 TAf: Aluminium advantages

This year, Yamaha Motor continues to explore new ground whilst staying true to its high-quality marine heritage, with a new range of YAM TAf inflatables.

The hulls of these innovative boats are crafted from aluminium, which offers a range of attractive benefits to a prospective owner. The incredible lightweight, requiring less horsepower to drive them through the water. This results in a more efficient engine and boat combination, reducing cost of ownership both at the outset and through-out the life of the vessel.

Precision Yamaha engineering has produced noticeably robust hulls, providing a reassuring strength, ideal for regular beaching, the all-important work of a safety boat and ensuring a long lifespan for the craft. The aluminium hulls also offer an advantageous rigidity, allowing the operator to confidently handle their boat in choppier waters and enjoy supreme manoeuvrability.

All new YAMS are available with a range of Yamaha Outboards and a selection of seating configurations. For a more relaxed experience, an optional bench seat and console is available on the TAf models. While the bench seat offers comfortable seating and ample storage beneath, the console gives added protection and the option for a remote throttle and additional navigation electronics as required. For additional seating and storage a cushioned seat is also available adjacent to the console, creating a secure experience for your crew.

YAM 350TAf

These tough, dependable models make an ideal family boat for weekend adventures but serve equally well as larger tenders. Seating can be configured to suit your purpose and preference with a thwart seat option or a bench with storage for all those exploration essentials. Convenient and spacious bow storage allow plenty of room for easy stowage of an anchor and all your family's gear, whilst the flat floor facilitates easy boarding and simple loading of luggage.

Your customisation of your boat doesn't stop at seating, with engine options including an incredibly lightweight Yamaha 25hp, offering a superb power-to-weight ratio to benefit both performance and ease of use on, and off the water.

The 350TAf is 350 cm length overall and has a beam of 160 cm. The bareboat weight is an extremely manageable 72 kg with a spacious capacity for 4 adults plus 1 child.

YAM 310TAf

The 310TAf is your perfect partner for action and adventure, playing host to your latest fishing expedition. Choose bench seating with a console, providing an ideal place to stash your rod on the port side. The incorporated bow locker is a great location to store the rest of your equipment. Engine options include the latest Yamaha 20hp featuring battery-less EFI.

The 310TAf is 307 cm in length overall and has a 160 cm beam. The bareboat weight is a very light 60 kg, especially when you consider that the capacity stretches to 4 adults and 1 child.

YAM 270TAf

The 270TAf is perfectly poised to serve any number of roles, from a fun yet functional tender for your yacht to a runabout for a small family. The most compact boat in this range, the 270TA benefits hugely from the stability and sea keeping capability of the aluminium hull, and it is easy to store in a tender garage or on the aft deck. Engine options include the whisper quiet Yamaha 8hp or the lightweight, yet powerful 6hp.]

This boat features an overall length of 265 cm and 159 cm beam. The bareboat weight is just 41.5 kg, making it very easy to handle out of the water and it offers a 3 adult, 1 child capacity, making it ideal as a small family runabout.

YAM Air Range

The YAM 240 Air, 275 Air and 310 Air-V (previously known as STi) offer customers another exciting option to get on the water this season. Benefitting from a fully inflatable, high pressure V-hull and deck; these vessels are ideal as a yacht tenders when it is not required for every journey, or for a family day on the beach as they can be packed and unpacked in minutes and easily transported in a normal family car. Accompanied with an E-drive or outboard power unit up to the Yamaha 9.9hp, it couldn't be simpler to start your next adventure on the water with a YAM Air.

YAM T-Range

For the ultimate in lightweight portability; the slatted floor T-range, with its roll-up deck design continues to be available and completes the YAM Inflatable range. Ideal as a tender for a smaller yacht; where space onboard is limited, or the perfect summer boat for your holidays, these inflatables are perfectly partnered to the Yamaha Portable and E Drive Outboard range.

YAM S Range

Combine performance and practicality with the YAM S Range. It's interlocking floor enhances the vessel's rigidity; giving a comfortable, smooth ride on the water, while the high pressure keel improves seakeeping and reduces the spray over the bow. Off the water the S Range is completely dismantlable and can be packed away into a small family car, or garage. This makes it an ideal vessel for families or fisherman looking for a more comfortable season on the water, without compromising on storage ashore.
