Scout Boats, Inc. experienced their best Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show ever during the most recent event held October 27-31, 2021.
"We're extremely excited by our success at FLIBS," said Scout CEO, Owner & Founder Steve Potts. "Our retail sales were up 115% over last year's Lauderdale show, and what's important to note is that last year's FLIBS was also our best Lauderdale show at the time."
Scout had a total of ten models - five of which were new models - on display in their booth including a new deck configuration and cabin interior on their flagship 530 LXF rigged with quad Mercury 600s; an all-new 350 LXZ luxury crossover complete with Lithium-Ion battery power for onboard electronics; new 277 Dorado dual console; new 240 XSF center console; and new 231 XSB bay boat model.
"With the current state of the industry, supply chain and lack of dealer inventories, it's incredibly humbling to us here at Scout that people are not only excited about purchasing a new Scout model, but that they are willing to wait for our models for their number one choice of brand," said Potts. "They could choose a second or third brand choice and potentially get another boat sooner, but customers are recognizing the worthwhile investment of being a Scout owner."
Scout builds luxury sportfishing center console, dual console, crossover and inshore/bay boat models ranging from 17' to 53'. Since its founding over three decades ago, the company's goal has been to manufacture the best-built boats in its distinctive sportfishing niches. Each Scout hull is a true original, as the in-house research and design team works closely with engineering to take concepts from blueprint to production more efficiently, growing the company's world-class reputation for quality, strength, durability and value.
