Group Sales Director (M/F)

Our French company and world leader in the design, construction and distribution of trimarans (sail and motor boats) and also specialized in the rental of trimarans, is looking for a Group Sales Director M/F, based in La Rochelle.

Detailed job description

Reporting to the General Management, your mission will be to define, animate and supervise the commercial strategy, with a goal to increase sales, turnover and commercial margin.

In this role, your responsibilities are to:

  • Define the business action plan in a clear and precise way,
  • Determine the positioning of the company, identify market developments and detect growth opportunities,
  • Animate, motivate and federate the teams around a common commercial strategy,
  • Organize and coordinate the commercial activities of its employees and dealers in the distribution network,
  • Monitor and analyze business performance indicators by ensuring the achievement of individual and collective objectives,
  • Provide accurate reports to the CEO through the design and updating of dashboards,
  • Manage the implementation of a new CRM and develop, with the communication department, digital the digital marketing tools,
  • Increase the visibility of the company and promote its image in collaboration with the communication department,
  • Manage commercial disagreements with customers or distributors,
  • Establish the operating budget of the sales department in close collaboration with the CEO and the CFO,
  • Intervene as a point of reference in support of the sales teams,
  • Participate in the recruitment of new sales resources,
  • Ensure compliance with the regulations in place but also anticipate the potential impact on its activity, in France and abroad,

Candidate profile:

With a minimum of a Master's degree, you have at least ten years of solid sales and managerial experience, ideally acquired in the nautical industry. This position requires a bilingual level of English and French.

Recognized for your proactivity and ability to convince, you have an excellent sense of negotiation. Your listening, communication and relationship skills, combined with your sense of achievement make you an excellent manager. You are a true boating enthusiast and seasoned sailor.

Detailed job description

Reporting to the Group Sales Department, your mission will be to develop, animate and supervise the commercial strategy of motor trimarans, with the goal to increase sales, turnover and the commercial margin.

In this role, your responsibilities are to:

  • Develop and animate an action plan through business development,
  • Build up a distribution network,
  • Animate and manage the salesforce,
  • Set individual goals and follow them,
  • Assist dealers on sales by bringing the expertise of the site,
  • Carry out regular customer follow-up in order to evaluate and identify the actions to be taken,
  • Master and develop your sales pitch and sales media,
  • Draft offers and commercial contracts,
  • Conduct sales deals directly with private or professional customers,
  • Ensure the correct receipt of invoices and customer payment,
  • Carry out a business intelligence within the filed,
  • Promote the image and notoriety of the company,
  • Analyze results and report to management

Candidate profile:

You have very good motor boat technical knowledge as well as solid market knowledge. You are a true boating enthusiast and seasoned sailor.
