Suntex Marina's staff honored with 2021 Marina Industry Young Leader Awards

Suntex Marina Investors, LLC (Suntex), the premier owner and operator of best-in-class marina properties, announced today that Geoff Butts, general manager, Glade Marina, located in Acworth, Georgia and Kathryn Ross, general manager of Marina Jack Yacht Basin, located in Sarasota, Florida were recognized during the 2021 Marina Industry Young Leader Awards. Hosted by Marina Dock Age, the awards were presented on Wednesday, December 1st at the Docks Expo, held November 29th - December 1st in Nashville, Tennessee.

"Congratulations to Kat and Geoff on such an amazing accomplishment," said Sam Chavers, senior vice president - operations, Suntex Marinas. "We are proud of their growth and the incredible job both of these young professionals do, and we are very fortunate to have them on our Suntex Florida and Georgia teams."

The Young Leader Award recognizes young professionals under 40 who have made significant contributions to the marina and boatyard industry and collectively promise to play a big role in shaping its future. Awards were given to young marina and boatyard owners, managers and staff; marina consultants, engineers or other professional service providers; manufacturers and suppliers of marina and boatyard products, or other professions that rely on the marina and boatyard industry for their businesses.
