2020 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract: Pre-Owned Markets report now available

The 2020 Canadian Pre-Owned Markets report is now available as a part of the 2020 Canadian Boating Statistical Abstract. This report details pre-owned recreational boat sales data (both unit totals and Canadian dollars) categorized by size, type, and province/territory. Pre-owned boat unit sales increased 22% in 2020 compared to 2019, with double-digit percent growth across all segments.

Additional key insights from the Pre-Owned Markets report include:

• Pre-owned unit sales of personal watercraft increased 26.6%; and inboard boats saw a 25.3% increases in pre-owned unit sales in 2020 compared to 2019.
• Pre-owned boat sales dollars in Canada increased 20.4% compared to 2019.
